Description

The Hairy Canary is a practical way to take care of all that hair we brush or clip off our horses and dogs. Simply fill the Hairy Canary with hair, hang it up, and watch the birds start to collect the hair to line their nests. Just make sure you don’t put horse mane or tail hair in there as this can be dangerous to young chicks if they become entwined.

Australian birds that line their nests with hair include Willie Wagtails, Striped Honeyeaters, Olive-backed Oriole and Magpies.
